The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) can feel like a maze—confusing, slow-moving, and full of high-stakes decisions that most schools are forced to navigate alone. CPPC was created with a vision & focus to change that.

After more than a decade leading licensing operations at the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), Jeff Mackey saw the same pattern play out over and over: well-intentioned schools getting denied, delayed, or fined—not because they lacked quality, but because they misunderstood the process. The rules were complex. The expectations were unwritten. The guidance was unclear.

Jeff knew there had to be a better way. So he left the Bureau to build it.

At California Private Postsecondary Consulting, we give institutions the insider clarity they deserve. We help school founders, compliance officers, and executive teams understand the system—not just follow it.
